Thai Spice Noodles & Rice is the latest restaurant to move into the building previously operated as Fuji Japanese Restaurant on Tiger Boulevard, with a target opening date of August 6, 2012. The planned menu is pretty well summarized in the name of the business. New signage was installed August 6, 2012.

The business closed for spring break in March 2014 and did not reopen. The signs were removed on April 4, 2014.

This business location was originally constructed in the early 1970s as Kentucky Fried Chicken's first Clemson outlet.
