Tasty Cluck'in Chicken
Tasty Cluck'in Chicken was a foodery on College Avenue that replaced Beezers and appears to have been open for about twenty minutes in the history of Clemson, relatively speaking. According to the proprietor of one long-established business on College Avenue, the short-lived eatery seemed to have a pretty good product but although it posted extremely long hours on the front of the business, did not always follow that schedule, and that particular observer postulates that Tasty Cluck'in Chicken might have been a front for some other kind of business enterprise. We will probably never know.
Tasty Et Cetera offered just about everything under the sun, according to signage still up on the moribund business in March 2009 - chicken, burgers, pizza, wings and more... And the hours posted were just short of "we're open ALL the time." Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 a.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., although, as noted above, they didn't always honor the posted slate. The business space was available for rent on March 2, 2009.
It was renovated into Clemson Kebab in mid-2009.
