Shotgun Alley

Shotgun Alley is/was the longtime name for the single street-width parking area between Woodland Cemetery and the large R-2 lot off of Williamson Road. It has been given the interim name of Nu Street to conform to state law that all rights-of-way have names, and is also designated as parking area C-3. As of early 2009 it has been changed from a two-way dead-end to a one-way through-route, with the loss of some spaces. Formerly used as resident parking, it is now designated as commuter and employee parking. The employee spaces are at the south end. A CAT Bus route serves the lot.
