Self Auditorium

Self Auditorium is a lecture hall and venue for events located on the ground floor of the Strom Thurmond Institute. It was dedicated at the same time as the Institute on April 22, 1989.

From the dedication plaque in the lobby outside the auditorium:

"Self Auditorium

With grateful appreciation to the Self Foundation of Greenwood, South Carolina for their generous support of the Strom Thurmond Institute Construction Campaign.

April 22, 1989"
