  • 1979: The Buzzard is published. Front page stories: "Dr. Ball Batchley : the 'inside' story " and "Stupid government loses leaders". Spring break begins after last classes. Renovation and expansion of the campus bookstore located under Harcombe Commons dining hall begins during the break week.
  • March 16, 2009-March 20, 2009: Temporary lane closures will occur on Tiger Boulevard as new decorative crosswalks are installed at t*[[he intersection with College Avenue. These improvements are part of the Tiger Boulevard Streetscape Enhancement Project.
