Fike Recreation Center, also known as the Swann Fitness Center, is home to Clemson's many fitness related activities. It is located behind the frat quad, and adjacent to the intramural fields and the stadium. It houses various exercise equipment and free weights, treadmills (complete with flat screen televisions for your viewing pleasure while working out), elliptical machines, an indoor suspended track, basketball courts, multipurpose rooms, racquetball courts, rock climbing wall, and an Olympic-size swimming pool with dive tank. There are also centers for yoga, pilates, and general fitness. Equipment rental is available and a smoothie bar is located at the front entrance. Student ID or membership card is required for entry; guests of members or students are $6 per visit.

Alumni, faculty of the university, and residents of the community may also purchase memberships to use the Fike facilities. Packages are also available for the families of such individuals.

The Department of Campus Recreation offers a wide variety of facilities for its members to utilize, including the renovated 200,000 square foot Fike Recreation Center & Swann Fitness Center, 32,000 square foot Indoor Tennis Complex, 21 Court Outdoor Tennis Complex, 390,000 gallon McHugh Natatorium, 23 acres of sport fields, 6,800 square foot sun deck and additional outdoor venues. The Fike Recreation Center had 452,086 visits for the 2005-2006 fiscal year and we continue to grow.
