China Wok is a Clemson student-favorite Chinese restaurant located in the Applewood Center shopping center as are Monterrey's and Skins, off of Highway 76 and next to Tillman Place. It's sit down or take out, and serves a pretty standard Chinese menu. Dinner is around $7, lunch a little cheaper. The dining room is dimly lit, usually with appropriately ethnic music playing, and the waitresses have a reputation for being somewhat surly. Don't let that stop you from going, though - the food is a cut above the other Chinese places in town, and extremely plentiful. Equally appropriate for a date or a group of friends.
The restaurant specializes in Hunan, Cantonese and Szechuan cuisines.
