Camp Old Indian (or COI as it's sometimes called by the staff members) is the Boy Scout camp serving the Blue Ridge Council (Abbeville, Greenwood, Anderson, Pickens, Oconee, Laurens, Newberry, and Greenville counties). It is located in the northern part of Greenville county, with the closest town being Travelers Rest.
Camp Old Indian houses its campers and leaders in permanent housing. Campsites are comprised of either cabins or adirondacks. Adirondacks are three-sided units with an over-hanging roof. Most hold four persons and their gear. Some adirondacks hold eight persons and have a built-in table shelter.
