Byrnes Hall

Byrnes Hall is one of the High Rises. It was completed in 1970. The architects were Hallman & Weems. Byrnes is a First Year Experience (FYE) dorm, housing only freshman males. It requires card access for entry and has a computer lab with wireless access on the first floor. A Tiger Fitness workout facility and full laundry facilities are located in the basement. Byrnes is on the horseshoe located adjacent to Lever and Manning.
Originally, all three High Rises had sun decks on their roofs. Byrnes is the only one left with the decking still in place, although it is set to be re-roofed soon.
