  • 1975 - The third annual Blue Ridge Invitational Art Festival is held on the grounds of Clemson House, featuring 56 artists and craftsmen from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Over $1,400 in prizes are awarded.
  • 1985: The head of Clemson University's public safety department, James C. Brummitt, resigns amidst questions of why there was a delay of a month before details of the investigation into the school drug scandal were revealed to school President Bill Atchley. (SPORTS PEOPLE; Change at Clemson)
  • 2007: The C.U. Percussion Ensemble and C.U. Steel Band in concert in the Brooks Center at 8 p.m. The Clemson Little Theatre presents The Spitfire Grill at 8 p.m. Poolstick plays at the Esso Club at 10 p.m., while Russell & Jonathon perform at TD's at 10:30 p.m.
