Events that occurred in 1913:
- The 1912-1913 Clemson basketball team goes 9-5 in its second year of existence, both seasons coached by Frank Dobson.
- Wayne Hart, future Clemson head football coach, coaches the Washington Vigilants, a professional football team, for one year. The team is undefeated.
- January 11: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Cornell.
- January 18: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Columbia.
- January 25: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Dartmouth.
- February 1: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Harvard.
- February 8: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Lehigh.
- February 15: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with the Massachusetts Aggies.
- March 1: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Norwich.
- March 8: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with North Georgia A & M.
- March 15: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Princeton.
- March 22: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Rhode Island.
- March 29: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Maine.
- April 5: The Clemson College Rifle Club has a meet with Vermont.
- April 13: Doc Ezell pitches Clemson's first no-hitter baseball game, in a 5-0 victory over Eskine.
- June: Clemson College awards its 1,000th degree.
- Bob Williams takes over the head football coaching job for the third time.
- October 4: Clemson opens at home with a win over Davidson, 6-3. Tigers lead the series, 5-2-1.
- October 11: In a road trip to play Alabama, the Tigers fall, 0-20. Tigers lead series, 3-2.
- October 18: Alabama Polytechnic College (later Auburn) administers loss with identical score as the Alabama game the previous week, 0-20, to the Tigers on Bowman Field. Auburn leads the series 3-6.
- October 30: Clemson blanks South Carolina, 32-0, in Columbia. Tigers lead the series, 8-3.
- November 6: In a game played in Augusta, Georgia, the Tigers are defeated by Georgia, 15-18. Teams are now tied in their series, 8-8-1.
- November 8: Clemson beats The Citadel in Charleston, 7-3. Tigers lead series, 5-0.
- November 17: The Tigers whip Mercer, 52-0, in a road game. Clemson leads series, 2-1.
- November 27: Georgia Tech defeats Clemson, 0-34, in Atlanta, giving them the series lead at 6-7-1. The Tigers have a 4-4 season record.
- December 30: Edgar Allan Brown, future Clemson Life Trustee, marries Annie Love Sitgreaves.
