Redfern Health Center is the on-campus medical center. It is named for Dr. Alexander May Redfern, Clemson Agricultural College's first surgeon. It was completed in 1969. The architects were Hallman & Weems.

Redfern has doctors' and nurses' offices as well as a pharmacy, women's health center, radiological capabilities, and houses the Counseling and Psychological Services, also known as CAPS. It is also a good place to go to in case you are suffering from illness, fatigue, and other health related problems.

In campus slang, it is sometimes referred to as "Deadfern".
